This is my first car and it's not that pretty. It's like a faded gold color.... I say that it looks like dirt and the clear coat is off....it's really dull and I would like to know how much money i'm going to need to save up so that I can help my parents out with paying for the paint job. So how much do you think it would cost to get my 1992 toyota corrolla painted?

Hi I was just wondering where I would go to get a compelte test on my cars computer (all its sensors). I have a 91 350sdl mercedes so I dont know if it being this old means there is a different way to test it.

So basically where do I go to get something like this done, and how much would it cost?

Okay so normally my dad would fill the car up with mobile SUPER but today i took the car out and forgot about it so instead i went to a sunco gas station and filled it with ULTRA; there was like 1/4 of the mobile Super gas in the tank when i filled it up with the Sunco Super; so i was wondering if that would cause any problem to the engine ?

The door has been used everyday for 15 years.
Do we have to grease it? Clean it?
Or new bearings?

Engine seems to be loosing water from area near where cambelt cover is. but only loses it after engine cools down. And it isnt a great deal lost either, just a damp patch appears on the tarmac outside the house. I've been told it could be the water pump seals, or even the bush inside the water pump. I have only just had the cambelt changed at 100,000 miles, on its third belt now but just curoius to know if anyone knows what the problem is exactly, can I cure it and if so do i need to change the cambelt yet again... Many thanks Lee G

I rounded the drain plug/bolt while trying to change my own oil (don't laugh...) If I took it to a place that does oil changes, would they have drain plugs in stock to replace it, or should I have the part in hand to give to them? I'm looking to get the drain plug fixed, let them change the oil, and be done with it.

This started happening on my trip home a few days ago. The first stall happened when I slowed down around a turn my car completely shut off, however the electrical power was still there. After I started going again it worked fine then I slowed down at the light and the same thing happened. The next light it was ok and then the final time I slowed down to turn in my neighborhood the car shut off again. We took it to the dealer and they replaced the EGR valve but it didn't work. The car seems to stall most when it is warm after driving after a half an hour. It immediately shuts off, no clunking, sputtering, etc.
Can anyone help me out on this? Thank you.

Recently I purchased a 1999 Mazda B4000 4x4 pickup. The front end feels very stiff and I feel every bump in the road. What can I do to make it ride smoother? I have already put new shocks on it but the ride did not change. Is there an adjustment somewhere so I can get a softer ride?

I have this annoying cat scratch on my cars windshield, and I'm wondering if there's a process or a way of removing it. Sort of looks like a spider-web string about a foot long.

Thanks

My hubby wants to weld something to his motorcycle frame(steel), what would be the best mig welder for this? Also, is there a welder that works well, and is not totally expensive? Thanks for your help.

I own a 2001 Honda Odyssey. We only have 65K miles on it, and live in Norther CA. I only mention this because the Odyssey manual says to change out at the 60K mark for high temperature locations. I do not consider silicon valley as a high temp. location. I was wondering if there was anyone who might know if 75K is reasonable to wait for? The van is running great, and I keep up on normal maintenance, and the dealer never says anything, but they also just tell me when I inquire that the manual says 60K.

Any help or suggestions out there?
Thanks,
Gary

my 2001 venture van has a ele. problem. when it's dark or if i turn my headlights on and i put my brakes on all my lights come on at the rear back-up, turn, tail and brake lights they're all real dim, and inside it looks like my emergency flashers are on real dim. i don't have any bad bulbs or fuses and i haven't done any wiring on the van. everythings fine in the daytime when i'm not running my
automatic headlights. I'd appreciate any ideals thanks
