if its the drivers side sounds like the switch is faulty, the only way to find out is to change the switch(can get one from your local car breakers) or from main dealer but that might be expensive,if that does not work could be wires that run from body to door they sometimes break after all the opening and closing of door, and last but not least could be the window motor its self, will need to take the plug out and put a 12v feed to it,depending on the way you have the connection the window will go up or down..if you are not sure about any of these things do not DIY...see a person in the know...hope this helps...my sauce been there done it,had it,cured it fixed it ,

you have not said which window!? drivers door or passenger? check the wires in the door shut they are in the rubber boot between the hinges, if its more than a couple of years old they are probably cracked and or broken. very common in french cars. i assume you've checked the fuses but other than that any other fault is likely to be beyond most diy fixes. There was a service bulletin issued on Mégane II front electric windows a few months ago. Was your car included?

If not, you'll probably need a new regulator. Seems like its not a unknown problem - see http://www.meganeownersclub.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4373
