I'm wondering if i want to install a mini-fridge in the car and be able to on the air-con in my stationary car for 1 hour, engine running, will i need an extra battery or will my car die off because i'm relying too much on a single battery? Is installing an extra battery a better alternative?

I own a '97 Toyota 4Runner with 140K miles on it, and was wondering how often I should have the transmission flushed. A 76 Station gave me an estimate of $160 for their $4,000 machine that pulls all the old stuff out and really flushes it with new--so it doesn't grime up again in a couple of months. Is this "machine" different than any other service station, or is that standard? And is this a normal estimate? (it includes all the fluid for replacement)

Tacoma .. 96. Rotors have warped 2x now since I put new pads
on last fall ( pulsation on braking) The pulsation is back BUT ONLY ON HIGH SPEED STOPS IE COMING OFF THE INTERSTATE-
city speed stops are as smooth as silk ! Should I replace
the rotors or hang in till it gets worse...will it get worse?
They were turned on prev. warps and have 1 more turn left-
but its either replace or keep as the options. Given the pulsarion is hig speed only THIS TIME..should I go on and replace or hang loose?

i got the parts i needed to start the bike (pullstarter) however still doesnt run right as you will see in video.
-new hp carbi (replace old one thinking it would work, wrong)
oh and notice the smoke from the bike when unexpectedly it revs to full RPM's for 5 sec. (will only do it if bike raised off ground). but it will soon cut out after.
then notice the oil on the toilet paper the 2nd time i show it to the camera (when i put it against the end of pipe.)

the left and right blinkers on my 05 grand am mysteriously stopped working a few days ago, then started working again. on my way home today, they did not work at all. so i call pontiac and they tell me to take it to a specific dealer to look at the car so i went there and low and behold my blinkers were working but the tech says theres not much they can do if its working. is that true or do i need to go to a different dealer? she also said to drive by when they arent working but thats a little difficult if i have other obligations.

Ive got a peugeot 306 xsi 2 litre 1994 M reg. The heater inside the car does not work for the windscreen.
I twist the switch to the windscreen and you can here the heater blowing but no air comes out what so ever.

Ive checked the fuses and they are all ok.

Would it be anything to do with the earth wire?

Any ideas?

Thanks

This time I got really lucky because the gas pedal stopped functioning while I was driving, like 2 minutes after I exited the freeway. I wonder what would have happened if it died on me while I was going 65....

On my 1995 Ford Explorer, the plastic piece broke off that held the lock up so now the car isn't locking on the passenger front door. I was wondering if anyone knew what the part was called so that I could go to a junk yard and find out about it. I guess it latches onto the lock piece of the door.

Will an air conditioner pull cold air from your house after all of the warm air is already pulled out of it? I was told it is impossible for an air conditioner to pull anything but warm heat.

Please, in detail, tell me where I would find the fuel filter, the spark plugs, and the fuel pump on a 1989 honda civic. If you use technical terms please explain. I am new to this stuff. I don't know what things are called yet. Hondas are little pieces of crap. I hate them.(just to let you know.)

I was getting new tires at a local shop and a young woman walks in to get an oil change. After checking out her car, it was determined that she also needed head lamp juice. This was going to cost her $45 and was "absolutely necessary for the car to run at its optimum". I just looked at the guy and chuckled...what would you have done???

Is there a good web site on researching reasonable prices for car parts. The place where I've dropped off my car has quoted me $110 or so for the battery. I know it takes not more than 10-15 minutes to install one, so, that means, they will probably charge me around $150-200 for the work and the battery.

Is that too much? How much should I be paying if I buy a battery on my own at say Walmart or some reasonably place store?

If I drive my caprice for a while and turn it off, the car will not start again until a couple of days later. When I get out of the car the exhaust is stronger also and the "service engine" light comes on. What is causing this problem?? It is becoming very pessimistic!!
