An easy solution is to buy a Pertronix Ignitor. It includes a magnet which fits under the rotor, and an electronic module that replaces the points. Since the entire thing fits under the distributor cap, it's a neat installation.
Pertronix part number is 1381A for pre-'72 Dodges.Summit racing lists it for $75.

you could buy the pertronix kit, or get dist from an engine with electronic ignition. 318-340-360. I bought a dist from a friend for 20 bucks. IF thats all you need is just the distributor.

yes they make a kit to do that and it is probably one of the best things you could do to make your engine run better and get better gas mileage, Mancini racing in Michigan should have the kit, give them a call 800-843-2821.
