Please, in detail, tell me where I would find the fuel filter, the spark plugs, and the fuel pump on a 1989 honda civic. If you use technical terms please explain. I am new to this stuff. I don't know what things are called yet. Hondas are little pieces of crap. I hate them.(just to let you know.)

ok on fuel filter on the back of the fire wall, on the left side, plugs would be in front, of the motor, find you plug wire, an run them to the plugs, on fuel pump, ,their to differ type, on be on the motor,by the crank pull, an on some in the gas tank

The spark plugs would be on the engine and the fuel pump would probably be in the fuel tank. The fuel filter is somewhere in between. They are little "catchy" cars aren't they. I tried to remain as un-technical as possible for you, although that does hamper detail and accuracy.
