How do you know the sensor went out? The code should tell you which o2 sensor is out.

Usually, the front one under the hood goes out first. If you have the $, I would change both of them-pre- and after catalytic converter. I'd also consider a tune-up if you haven't done one recently-it'll make your car run a lot more smoothly. Besides, I thing the O2 sensor under the hood is the easiest to replace. If you have an AutoZone close by, go there and ask for the most knowlegeable counter guy, he/she should be able to help a lot.

Hook up an OBDII code reader and it will tell you which one. You can get your car scanned at any local auto store.
