Drivers automatic seat was pushed back as far as it woud go and now it is stuck. Any ideas?

we have a car that has a film on the out side of the head lights that won't come off, makeing them look fogy. dose eanyone have an idea as how to clean them to look like ner new??

Blows out plenty of hot air when moving, but cools off very fast at idle speeds. The radiator is hot enough to burn you at the top hose and the right side, but cold cold on the left and at the bottom side. Both of the heater hoses are hot, too. Could this be an air pocket trapped somewhere? Maybe in the engine block? The truck is not overheating at all. I know the heater core is good, I flushed it out and you can blow thru it. I have replaced the water pump, the thermostat, and the radiator. Still having the same problem. Could the thermostat be installed backwards? How could I tell?

after noticing rust in radiator, bought flush and cleaned system 3 times, then engine ran hot. changed thermostat twice, engine temp gauge does not show hot now, but when i open the radiator cap water overflows out and engine still seems to be too hot, and now it idles rough as it warms up, what is my problem?

I'm sure there is a way but he doesn't accept email or IM. Who knows what good it would do to report abuse. I tried it. Maybe everyone needs to do the same.

I changed the brake shoes and now the wheels are locked up. Everything looks like it's back together right.

The know is apparent when it idals and give it just a little gas, and when i am going down the road, if the rpms are 2000 to 2500, it does that knocking noise, but any rpm above that you cant hear it, and when it is below that you cant hear it either, i have been told that it is a lifter, but i have checked those and they are all good, i cant figure out the problem, does any one have any ideas.

The car has 118,xxx miles & I began having a problem w/starting a year ago. An aftermarket alarm was installed before I bought it in 01.The car wouldn't turn over sometimes & I'd wait 15min then it would.Thought it was the alarm or a loose connection so took it to the dealer b/c I don't know the mechanics in the area(my 1st mistake).They replaced the ignition switch cylinder.Worked ok for 3wks.Then after starting & driving 3x,got back it to start it & radio came on but when I went to turn it over, everything went dead.Tried to jump, no good,towed back to dealer.They disconnected the alarm.Worked for 3wks.Now-radio,lights come on but need to jump every other day . Car now very sluggish & once in awhile I get a tiny surge when idle that's when I need to jump it. Had battery,alternator checked-GOOD.Man asked if I knew that the cat.convert was going bad.No I didnt.Gas gage was broke for 2yrs stayed at E.Had sensor replaced in tank,went to F,now wont drop passed 1/2 tank.HELP ME PLEASE

When the car is started it will run for a few seconds and then die.In order to start the car again you have to shut the switch all the way off not just turn it over again. Any ideas?

The moter works when hooked up direct and the fuse is good but can't get power to the moter from the switch.

it shuts off during driving, all the needles jump back and forth. we have changed the coilpack/ module, and a fuel filter. we are in desperate need of advice. we dont know where to go from here. the car has also been taking up to 3-4 timed of trying to start before it does. When you turn the key it sounds like the battery is dead but isn't because it eventually starts, and it sometimes starts with out hesitation. I dont not know if this has anything to do with it shutting off, although i dont believe that it does!! If anyone has sincere advice we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!!

a top of the line $$$$$$ battery,but still some mornings the battery is just dead!!!! The dome light doesn't seem to make much of a difference, if it won't shut off the battery may or may not work the next day. (What I'm trying to say is that the battery doesn't seem to be drained by this)HELP! ;)

I have a 2001 Ford Ranger that will not heat up, as in the needle will not go up and the air that comes out of the vents is fairly cool (there is a little bit of heat). I asked my father, and he said that it was my thermostat. I went to the auto part store, and they told me I do not have one in my engine- the 2.3L I4. I added more 50-50 mix, and it didn't help, but now my check engine light is on.
When I got my transmission replaced the guys there said my truck was strange. Does anyone know how to go about fixing this? I need to fix it so I can trade it in and get something that won't keep dying on me!

We've been parking our car on the street under these trees that have been dropping berries (unknown) onto our car. They have left these crusty spots on the car. I've brought it to the car wash twice and they won't come off. Any suggestions on how to remove them?

In 2003 I bought a 1997 Blazer 4x4 LS for 9K and had 53000 miles on it.I have put $5000.00 in repairs including
steering column work,rebuilt transmission at 95000 miles,
Leaking manifold gasket.Next summer I will have to replace
the A/C compressor and thats another $800.00.
The SUV now has 103000 miles on it.
I like SUVs,Is a Chevrolet Trailblazer any good?
I have also been thinking of a Toyota 4-runner but
what will I get for 10 grand on a used 4-runner? Not
much probably.

It's 96. Could it mean that it needs an oil change? Is it generally really sever if it comes on? It turns on sometimes then goes off, etc.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!
The van was running fine, no strange sounds or rough running, no hesitation or stalling. Used the van in the morning and a few hours later went out to use it again and it just will not start! It turns over but will not fire. Sounds like it is out of gas, but it has over 1/2 tank.
Changed all the spark plugs...nothing..gas is going through the carburator. There is spark. Any idea's????? I am desperate!
