someone mention this relating to the issue with the EG8 engine fuel injected 92 model civic....engine shaking when driving around cruising speeds....

EG8 automatic civic fuel injected 92 model....engine strains & shakes car....one of you guys mention a failing FUEL INJECTOR...i believe this can be my problem..cause when i mash for kick down the car pulls off lazy but after a few seconds the the engine picks up power & feels like how the car should work......if one is bad how can i test each FUEL INJECTOR...??

EG8 civic automatic 92 model fuel injected...the engine trimbles & acts like it's straining to pull vehicle...so i was thinking... if one spark plug NOT working will this cause the engine to do this..?

My 1994 V-10 Dodge Ram 3500 occasionally dies while driving at around 35-40 mph. And when it dies it starts right back up. I got fault codes 25, and 35 (Idle air control motor circuits, and Radiator Fan low speed relay circuit). Will a faulty idle air control motor cause an engine to die?

I have '94 VW Golf manual transmission. One week ago I had the heating core replaced, and they had to take apart the dashboard, and steering wheel mount, and also cut some wires in order to get to the heating core. The mechanic shop that did this is so shady. I don't want those people touching my car again! Anyway, before this was done, I never had to press the gas for the car to start. Now I have to give a lot. How is this related to the service that was done or is it coincidence, and how can it be fixed?

ok i took off the plug that goes to the brake light switch and the brake lights are still on shouldn't this have caused them to go off please help thanks

today it started by my abs light flashing off and on so then i checked to see if the outside brake lights were working and they would not come on so i checked my fuses and found 1 that was burnt into so i replaced it now my outside brake lights wont go off at all. please help i need to know what this is and how to fix it

well another grand ol day. i swerved to avoid a stopped car in the middle of the street as i was coming up over a hill and slid out, had to replace the tire and now my gears are destroyed....i can't put it in park but it seems to be in park when in reverse, neutral is reverse and drive is neutral, 3rd gear is drive. how bad is this? a new transmission? god help me

I have a 92 mercury with an AOD tranny in it and it shifts just fine but only if I have it in drive. If in overdrive, the car acts like its in nuetral but only in overdrive. It drives fine until it shifts into overdrive. I have only had the car for 1000 miles and it does just fine in the city but I am worried that other problems could get worse. I only paid 250 for it so I still feel I got a good deal. The shift control cable was off when I bought it and I got it rigged up for now but it does not seem to adjust. My main question is whether I have to remove and rebuild, or if I can try other options first? Please help in any way posible. I have heard that there is no hope and that it is going to have to be rebuilt. let me know if anyone can help

Anyone have problems with their radio system not working? It will automatically switch channels on me or turn off..... also my horn stoped working after my panic alam kept going off and someone disconected it. One more thing my cruise control also stopped working....... think that's it.

i check the spark plug and i don't see any spark
it's a kick start. 1976 honda cj360t
can it be battery too or ignition coil?
i was working fine and i droped it(barely) but it has a sissy bar
i am guessing it was flooded too
any idea how to fix this?

I have a 1997 Toyota 4Runner that I JUST replaced the pads and roders on. But, it persists to shake everytime I hit the brakes. I was told that it was due to warped roders, but after I got new ones, my mechanic was speechless. They act worse sometimes rather than others, but I just want it to STOP! Can someone PLEASE HELP?!?!

I have a '95 Buick Skylark GS with a 3.1. The alternator is 3 years old and the battery is an 84-month battery by Exide.

When I start-up cold, everything works great and the voltmeter guage goes past 13, almost to 15 volts no matter what load is on like the radio, A/C, rear-window defogger, lights, signals, etc. Occasionally and usually after the car is warmed-up, I'll have a drop in voltage, almost down to 10 volts. It will go up a bit when I rev the engine; it will drop way down when it's under load from the aforementioned electrical items. I've had the battery and alternator both check-out OK.

Thanks for your assistance if you have any ideas about this.

I have noticed that my key has been getting stuck more and more recently in my driver's side door lock. It seems like it is just a matter of time before I can't open the door. If this happens, how would I change the door lock, and how much would it cost? I have a 92 4dr Honda Civic DX.

The windshield on my car has a crack just about from one end to the other. It runs parallel to the heater vent on the dash. The crack doesn’t seem to be through the thickness of the windshield. I’m kind of paranoid that the wind pressure could cause it to shatter driving to or from work on the free way.

I know that I need a dam new windshield. I just bought the cheap thing about 3 months ago. I noticed the crack about 5 weeks ago. I went to the shitty place to see about warranty, but it is cracked due to road hazards and weather conditions.
