PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!
The van was running fine, no strange sounds or rough running, no hesitation or stalling. Used the van in the morning and a few hours later went out to use it again and it just will not start! It turns over but will not fire. Sounds like it is out of gas, but it has over 1/2 tank.
Changed all the spark plugs...nothing..gas is going through the carburator. There is spark. Any idea's????? I am desperate!

the first answer is good make shore fuel pump is working. If it is working maybe the injectors aren't.Get starting fluid and spray some into the intake and see if it starts.put the air cleaner back on before you try to start it incase it backfires

It could be the fuel pump. I work in a parts store, and I sell a lot of GM fuel pumps. When you turn the key switch to the run position without trying to crank the engine, you should hear the fuel pump motor for a few seconds. If you don't hear it, it's a good bet the fuel pump is out. Someone will have to drop the fuel tank, because the fuel pump is located inside the tank.
