When the car is started it only runs for a few seconds and then dies. In order to start the car again you have to shut the switch all the way off, you can't just turn it over again. We changed all the relays and the fuel pump/filter.

It sounds like the fuel pump is out. If it has the original pump it has lasted longer than most other vehicles.

the FIRST thing to come to mind is that the ignition switch (not the lock cylinder) is failing. There is a way to test this, but is fairly convoluted. Check if there is power to the ignition coil when it dies, before turning the switch off. Then check if ther is power to the coil while cranking without turning the switch off after it has died.
Next, check the computer for codes. On Chrysler vehicles of this vintage, it is easy. Requires no tools. But you must pay attention. You cannot space off.

...and scroll down below the code definition chart for the procedure. IF you should get distracted, or lose count, or are just not sure if you got it right, turn the key off for > 20 seconds and start again.
Be sure that you do this before you disconnect the battery for any reason. If the PCM loses power, the codes Will not be retained in memory.
When you get a code "55", this is an indication that there are no Moe codes to be displayed.
Refer to the code chart for definitions of the codes, and refer to a repair manual for proper DIAGNOSTICS procedures BEFORE attempting repairs.
