i put some engine oil in my car and now its procuing too much fmes..smoking oout the whole area. please help

My car cuts off as I am driving. The check oil light comes on, after about 3-5 minutes it starts right up as if no problem and the check oil light is not on. I recently started to hear engine knock. Is my 1993 Pontiac Bonneville dying?

on a srraight away and it just slowed down and i thought i waz out of gas and tried crankin it bac up and the kick start would not go down but it moves in all gears as in i can roll it wat is the problem any one.and the dirt bike is a 4 stroke

Hello I need help. I recently purchased a wrecked 1999 Tracker and I am going to put the motor in my 1988 Samurai. I found alot of info on the net and it seems like it will be easy enough to do. The problem I have is I want to use the automatic transmission as well and have found nothing on the net to help me. I need information and the automatic install.

It looks like oil in my radiator, I have drained it and cleaned it out car never over heats I have asked around and been told that it has something to do with the antifreeze that gm uses I have had the car for three yaers and its always been like that has anyone else have had such a problem.

I took my car (G35) to install an amplifier and the moron in the audioshop drilled it into my gas tank. A few days later the car is stinking like gas. It was a $1300 repair at the dealer and the shop doesnt want to pay me back for the repair. Im trying to look for a lawyer but Im having a hard time with something this specific, what kind of lawyer do i need?

I Have a SAAB cab on an uk M plate,
the movement of the hood opening and closing has slightly pulled the hood away from the glass surround of the rear window

this has lefts slight gap between the window and the glass,im thinking of a repair that puts a strip of material beteen the gap stiched to the hood and bonded to the glass

the iodea i have wont be able to be spotted the way im thinking
poss a marque repeair palce for the hood part

can anyone else please offer any advice?
i know about hood replacemnet but this will be my last resort

Ive a 1997 Nissan Micra auto, 86.000km. When i relaesed the handbreak this morning the handbreak light in the dash stayed on for a few mins. The break was definately down to the ground. dont know if its related but when i turned right it went off? thanks!!

My mom has a 94 Nissan Pathfinder LE with a 3.0 V6 in it. 4 weel drive. I've seen my dad do some pretty amazing things with this lil truck, I've seen him pull a full size tour bus out of the mud axle deep up a hill with this truck so its been a great truck. the truck has 218,000 miles on it. we just put new plugs wires distributer cap button. all that good stuff and about 60,000 miles ago we put new heads on it. just this morning it started missing really bad and we have a lot of trouble keeping it running, it's shooting out black smoke out the exost, and my mom says the brakes are exstreamly stiff. We know that the front oil gasket is going bad, the gasket that goes around the crankshaft pully in the front. Does anyone know why its doing what its doing and if its easy to fix it, or not. thanks if you can help.

and i don't want no ford guy comming up here and telling me that it should of been a ford.

Hello,
The "check engine light" came on yesterday. Had it looked by a mechanic and he said there are 2 diagnostic codes that came up: P0171 and P0402.
Any ideas as to what the problem could be? Is there a common problem that people have faced with this car, and a replacement?

I've parked my car for more than 3 months because of an overseas trip. Now that I'm back, I got shocked by the amount of mold covered my car seats and dashboard. I live in Malaysia and it's so humid here. Do you know how I can get rid of that? I can't even touch anything in order to move my car to the nearest carwash!

There is a hose going from the engine compartment to the air filter. This air filter is passing this smoke to the carb, When I opened I found a load of oil remaining and slug in the carb. Shall I use carb cleaner into the air in --> to the carb? If yes then shall I block the pipe that is going to the air filter from the engine? It is continuous smoke coming to the carb.

Please help!
