The other day my disk brake locked up on the passenger side front. I figured it was the calipers so I rebuilt them and put them on, it was time for a brake job anyway so I put on new roters and pads too. The whole front end is locked up now, and the brake pedal feels hard. Could it be the master cylinder or maybe brake lines, could air locked in the system do this? Or God forbid they gave me the wrong pads, God I hope not.

I have a honda civic 2005 special edition LX that has been crashed on the right hand side pulling out. Just to give you an idea of the severity - the other driver was going about 25-45mph. Not too severe of an accident. (Two of the doors dented in - other drivers hood mildly dented). No broken window parts. Functional doors. Just a little harder to close completely, but overall good.

I have someone pulling out the dents, sanding, filling and another professionally painting it all for $800. Does that sound about right??? I want to make sure that it is before I proceed. AND what exactly is the process for fixing this? (what products or tips are recommended in completing this?) Thank you for your help and answers!!!

I took my 98 Windstar to the shop because of no heat, and they told me that they needed to fix the manifold intake and flush something out. They said that the procedure will take 5 hours, but it took 2/12 days. When we got the car back they said that the heat was working, but it had some air that had to ride out, so the heat will work on and off for about a day. The heat has not worked at all. We had a new thermostat put in a couple of months ago, and they checked the water pump. I have four children that t have to take to school in Michigan weather. Is there a mechanic out there that can help

I recently purchased a 93 Honda Civic. Have been driving it about 1 month with no problems. On the way to work I noticed temp gauge running hot. I stopped the car and heard boiling under hood. Checked and water was boiling into overflow tank. It seems electric fan was not turning on. After I got it home, I hooked a jumper wire to the fan sensor switch and the fan kicked on. I replaced the sensor thinking it was defective. worked fine for two days and now is overheating again. It seems like the fan is not kicking on when it should. I turn on the heater to full, and the temp goes right down, (and roasts me out of the car).I hope and pray it is something simple like a thermostat. Is there anything I am missing?
