I agree with Martinmm, the spark plugs (gap) should be set at 0.044.

Wow, I need to go back to school. I didn't know they ran spark plugs in a diesel, last I knew they used glow plugs.
I would get them from Ford.

That or replace the Solonoid that controls the glow Plugs !

depends on how much you want to spend. :-)
We sell ALOT of autolite glow plugs for f series trucks and people love them.
Let me know what year and engine you have, whether its the 6.0 or 7.3 and I can look them up for ya and make sure you get the best deal on them.

if its a power stroke then their are no spark plugs they are glow plugs and they are good for quite a while
