I Have a SAAB cab on an uk M plate,
the movement of the hood opening and closing has slightly pulled the hood away from the glass surround of the rear window

this has lefts slight gap between the window and the glass,im thinking of a repair that puts a strip of material beteen the gap stiched to the hood and bonded to the glass

the iodea i have wont be able to be spotted the way im thinking
poss a marque repeair palce for the hood part

can anyone else please offer any advice?
i know about hood replacemnet but this will be my last resort

do not really know what you mean , but if you live in the north London area there is a good garage there that specialises in soft tops . it is at the woodgreen end of Alexandra palace hill v22 email me if you need better directions

i would just bond the both with a flexible epoxy resin unless the material has shrunk. then an added piece woud work going to a repair shop would result in you having to replace the hood altogether
