I recently took my 2005 Kia Sedona to have it's oil changed. It has been about 14000 since the last one(yes, I know that's bad). The place I took it to refused to do it becasue of "sludge" around the filter and on the dipstick. My car is running fine with no noises. One person has told me to use an engine flush and then change the oil, but the guy at Autozone told me not to b/c that could cause even more problems. He told me to change the oil, then change it again after 500-1000 miles. I am really confused as to how to get rid of it. Please advise!!

I do need my battery charged for an hour or two. Got this Sears charger, plugged in with the clips on the proper poles. It''s a 6 and 12 v charger. I turned it to 12 volt. No other dials or knobs on charger. Is it supposed to charge? I see nothing moving on the dial, after 30 minutes of plug in.

My friend allowed me to borrow her car while she was away on vacation. She is returning in a few days and I decided to check the fluids in the car and I noticed it needed transmission fluid. I took it to a nearby shop and they put some in for me. On my way back home I noticed the blinkers were not working. When i got home I checked the hazards and they also are not working. How can I repair this myself? I was going to check the fuse box under the steering wheel, but I wouldn't which one to check or how I would know it was bad. Please help.

My car has been stalling and dying when I stop, like at a stop sign. Also, when accelerating from a stop, it will kind of sputter and jerk for a second. Once I get on the road, it's fine. It just occasionlly dies when stopped or when trying to take off from a stop.

What could it be?

I was thinking maybe fuel filter? If it's not the fuel filter, what else could it be?

I recently got the water pump replaced on a 99 Oldsmobile Intrigue GL (3.5L V6), and ever since the temperature gage seems to be running higher...between half way and the 3rd line, where before it was replaced it never got above the second line. It is doing this when I slow down and stop at lights. Once I get going the temperature does drop. Is this normal, or did they do something wrong?

What could this mean. I have a groaning noise coming from the front end of my vehicle when I turn(especially sharp turns) and when my car goes over speed bumps, it is a clicky noise like someone jumping on a really old bed. What could all this mean and what would be the cost to repair it. 01 Olds Alero 4dr sedan
