Just saying...don't cut the O2 Sensor, even if you're removing it. They're tough to get off because of all of the corrosion, and there's a possibility you won't be able to get it by yourself...cutting it will just make things worse.

it's not hard. there's a special tool you can buy that goes around the sensor but with a hole for the wires. but i have a trick to it will work with a regular set of wrenches

remove the sensor's electrical plug from the connection. then trim off just enough of the plastic off the plug at the end of the sensor, that you can wiggle a box wrench over it and down on the sensor.

use the open wrench to see what size you need, then use the box wrench because you need a lot of leverage to pry that thing out of the exhaust.

if it's giving you trouble, put a length of pipe over the other end of your wrench and keep pulling. if you've got the truck lifted up to do this make sure it's done securely cuz you're really going to have to pull to get that ****** out of there. they get pretty stuck cuz of the heat

first, make sure your replacing the right one. That vehicle has 4 of them. 2nd make sure that it's the o2 sensor causing your problem.( alot of times a catalictic converter going bad will make a o2 sensor not work properly.
But to remove it, you will need a 7/8 wrench. Just simply losen it and remove it.
Oh yea, and make sure the engine has cooled, it will burn you, if you don't! Hope this helps!

i recognize you're searching for extraordinarily particular practise, yet i imagine you're more beneficial off getting a service guide or a minimum of a wiring diagram of the motor vehicle. some archives is amazingly VIN particular. this can no longer be, in spite of the undeniable fact that it could be. Any answer you get may be by chance incorrect, an reason you no end of complications as you get secret complications when you be conscious the incorrect archives. It takes position.

uncrew it, slide it out very carefully and slip the new one back in.

or maybe you should have someone do it for you if you can't figure that out.
