My friend allowed me to borrow her car while she was away on vacation. She is returning in a few days and I decided to check the fluids in the car and I noticed it needed transmission fluid. I took it to a nearby shop and they put some in for me. On my way back home I noticed the blinkers were not working. When i got home I checked the hazards and they also are not working. How can I repair this myself? I was going to check the fuse box under the steering wheel, but I wouldn't which one to check or how I would know it was bad. Please help.

If you have the owners manual in the glove box it will give you a fuse diagram of which fuse to check. Otherwise take to you local auto parts store for help. Many will check for free. when a fuse has blown it actually melts the metal link which is clearly visable, once the fuse has been pulled from the fuse box. Be sure and replace with a the same amp rated fuse otherwise the circuit could be damaged. If still an issue then take to a competent mechanic you know. If you do not know any then take to a AAA listed shop.

There are two relays in there, one for signals and one for emergency signals. Look on line for fuse schematic to find out which one is which. Go to the auto parts to get the relay, they should be able to help you out with this or questions. GOOD LUCK!
