i asked this question eariler :Driver side passenger wheel on a 98 s-10 blazer has a hot oil smell, and excessive heat coming from it after driving. I did have brakes put on 3 months ago, but the problem just started? is a brake stuck, bad bearing, any other suggestions? I have recieved excellent info from everyone, anyone have a ballpark figure what the repair might cost?

a couple questions does this rig use a dana 60 front axle. i owned a 97 ford f250 and it had a friggin TTB front end on it. If it uses the dana 60 front and rear i can switch em out with a 79 reverse pinion front and rear axles right. A easy switch. How does a built ford 460 compare to the turbo diesel they were sticking in these rigs.

The service ride control light won't go off even though the shocks and brakes were replaced along with the supension and now that I got all of that done the ABS anti lock brakes light is on as well, they say they can't reset the computer, could I just need to redo the brakes or just rotate the tires now.

Hello everyone, I accidently got wax on my door handles on my 2005 Ford Focus SES ZX4. I have washed my car numerous times since then and my handle still has the wax on it. So no it looks faded instead of a black door handle. What can I do?

The reason I'm asking is becuase I am interested in buying and restoring a 87 RX-7 GXL 5 speed and I plain on doing some modes to it like bigger throttle body full exhaust, super street port and after market computer. I have some experience with rebuilding piston engine's.

does it damage the drivetrain too?

In high speed, I shift in a low gear to slow down and press the brake softly / lightly to make a full stop.

it is an engine break right?

so, does it damage the engine if it is used too much?

It became my habit because I want to preserve my brake pads.

I haven't been able to drive it, because it was rear-ended and I haven't been able to get it fixed yet...But the last time I cranked the engine and let it run awhile, it cranked just fine. This morning I tried to crank it, but all it did was make a clicking noise, and the needle on the battery gauge jumped around. All the lights still work, so the battery can't be dead. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

I have a 1999 Crysler Town&Country XL van (automatic).

There is something wrong with it. You can drive it forward and backward. Drive it as fast as you want. The problem is that when you're driving it will not shift out of 1st gear.

It has been at the reapair shop sinces July. They cannot figure out whats wrong. THey've tried everything they can think of. Fuses, Transmission, you name it. They've sent it out to a dozen different places a dozen different times. Each time it comes back with no change and no idea how to fix it.

What could it be?

How can I fix it?!

PLEASE HELP!!!
