we have changed the fuel pump, spark plugs, and catalidic converter and my car just stoped working any ideas

2002 monte carlo. at stop llights it was slow to start and then when came out of store it would turn over but you cant hear the fuel pump engage and you usually can.

Check the fuel filter, just in case but timing belt sounds like a real possibility also.

Dead battery maybe. Need more info....how did it die? Did it just stop? Did it seem like it was losing power then stopped? Did it stall then not start back up? Could be tons of things.

timing belt. remove the distributor cap, crank the engine. if the rotor doesn't turn the timing belt is broken..

it must sufferd a heart attack(engine failure)must admit to hospital,delaying will fatal.docs will inspect and tell u the reason,be patient.
