I sold it to my sister and she has created many problems like she used my insurance without my permission in 2 car accidents. U know all that insurance hassle. I've initiated title transfer but she has to finish it, now the insurance is giving me crap cus the car is still under my name. And my sis refuses to cooperate at all so can i just pick up the car from her?? is that legal ??? where can i find it if im allowed to do that ? I dont want her to get me into more trouble. I live in Dallas Tx. SO if anyone could tell me where i can find out my rights and responsibilities please let me know, thanks

Are there any US Car Insurance companies that will take into account my UK driving history when calculating my insurance?

I moved to San Francisco from London 5 months ago and have had a Californian license for just 2 months. This means that the insurance on my Saab Turbo is FANTASTICALLY expensive because none of the US car insurance companies are prepared to take my UK driving history into consideration - I've had a clean license for 13 years at home.

Do any car insurance companies take a more international approach?

Thanks

Jonathan

I got in a car accident. The driver offer to pay to fix my car. I brought the car to a shop to get my car fix. When the car was done, the driver never show up with the payment. I can't reach the driver now and I had to pay for the repairs. Is it too late to file a claim?

plus at the time of the accident, the driver did not have his license, insurance card. the only information i have is his name, cell phone number, license plate and vin #

My fiance was hit by a rental car. Her insurance company insists that she has to pay a $500 deductible despite the fact that it was the other person's fault. From what I understand this is not correct. Should we get a lawyer involved?

I bought my truck knowing it had some damage on the roof. The paint is now starting to peel off and there is also some rust. I currently have full coverage with $100 deductibles. When my insurance agent was taking pictures, he didn't even look at my roof. Would you submit a claim? If yes, what would say caused the damge?

I bought a brand new car on July 24, 2006, and 4 days later I got rear-ended. After so many phone calls, I finally got the other guys' insurance company to accept liability. The car was hit 45 mph, so the impact was pretty hard. Went to the chiropractor. Unfortunately the insurance company told me that they will repair the vehicle. So the question is besides, them repairing the vehicle, getting me a rental car, and pay me pain and suffering, which they only offer a little, what other compensation can I ask for? I really don't like to think that I will be making high payments for supposed to be brand new car, and it's not brand new anymore.
