Yes, you can own a vehicle without having a license. But if you are caught driving it, it will eventually get you a comment on you NCIC something on the order of "License restriction, revoked. If vehicle is registered to this person, seize plates and tow." Then they call me. I make sure I have my tools with, pull the plate, hand it to the officer. Now of course the vehicle can't be picked up until they get plates.

You may own a car, even if you do not have a license. You should, however, check the laws in your local area to see if you need to maintain your registration and insurance on the vehicle, even if you can't drive it. Some municipalities call those "junk cars", and will fine you and tow it away.

certain, in case you signal the identify over to him, then he can get plates and insurance in his call, for his vehicle. If there's a private loan on the vehicle, besides the undeniable fact that, you won't be able to. truly than doing that, you should merely purchase the insurance on your call, leave the vehicle on your call, upload him because the conventional driving force to the vehicle, and exclude your self from insurance lower than the coverage as a driving force. a lot a lot less confusing, with an similar effect.

Yes just don't drive it they are putting people in jail left and right for driving with a suspended license. I would not even worry about insuring it. Just check with your local transportation dept.

If you already own the car. I don't think a dealer will sell you a car while it is revoked.
