Keep in mind that insurance cost more on those smaller somewhat sporty little cars, even for more experienced drivers. Your best bet is to start with a more "wholesome" car. Price around insurance on different cars and you'll see what I mean. When those little cars have a little finder bender; that would barely hurt some cars; they're often totaled. Try something mid size 4 doors and check the rates. I really liked my Hyundai sonata, I know what your thinking, I thought it too, I was suprised how stylish and sporty it looked. Remember color makes a difference in how sporty a car looks. Charcoal grey, nice; baby blue, BAD. Good Luck!!!

Comparison shopping is your best bet. This research will give you some excellent resources to find the best car insurance rates. I would shop at least five companies. Try http://www.nationwidebillrelief.com/autoinsurance.html and http://www.geico.com to start. These companies can give you quotes very fast. Good luck!!
