I bought a car months ago, but later I found an odometer rollback record on the title :-( It's not a big deal, I thought, but when I was trying to sell it, I found it's a real big problem!

Does anyone knows what laws did the former seller break?

Thanks a lot!

I can't seem to locate the listing of requirements in order to be able to choose a specialty license plate for my street rod in Maine. Any ideas? The State of Maine website nor the DMV website offer any insight?!?

However, I am still using my GA driver license. I just received a speeding tickets. Will it effect my car insurance even if I haven't got my CA driver license yet.
Also, how much will my speeding ticket cost me and which state (GA or CA) will this speeding ticket be reported on record.

I tapped a parked car in a parking lot and it put a pretty good dent in it. I left them my info saying I would be financially responsible and never heard from them. 2 weeks later I get a letter from the police saying I was involved in a hit and run and that criminal charges could take place. I called the detective taking care of the case and he said we would have to discuss this in person. What is going to happen? ANY HELP?

I was driving my car home from work without insurance in California....I rear-ended a car on the freeway in traffic as I was changing lanes. There were 3 cars that were involved in this accident. It started by one car slamming on his brakes and caused a car too rear-ended him. Then I rear-ended the car after he hit the other car in front of him. So there were 3 cars and I was the last car to make contact with the other cars.” typical fender bender" I got a letter in the mail saying I had to pay for everyone’s damages on their cars....I feel I should only have to pay for the damage I caused....am I right...i just got off the phone with the bill collector that wants almost 7,000 from me for putting a scratch in someone’s bumper. Also...included in the bill is the rental car insurance for 43 DAYS!!! the car I hit was a 2000 bug and they rented a 2005 jeep chereki!!! I have a list of attorneys to call tomorrow but It has always been hard for me to sit around and wait to hear answers.

I'm 16 and I've had my liscense for roughly 2 months, in which I've already crashed into a fence. However, this most recent crash involved another car, and it was my fault. I got a ticket. How high should I expect my insurance to hike?

My son pulled out of an intersection on a country road, there was gravel in the road. Another car was turning in where he pulled out. Someone came down the road behind him and said he had busted two windows and chipped paint out of a woman's car and he needed to come back to the intersection. He went back and a policeman was there and my son was given a reckless driving ticket. The truck is an S-10.My son is 16.He did not know anything had happened. They never asked him anything. The woman had her insurance agent contact me the following morning to inquire for us to pay for her car.My son says he was not driving reckless, all he did was pull out and there was gravel in the road and it was very hot and dry outside. We do not understand how this could break out windows. The truck was in my ex-husbands name and there was no insurance.

I have had only one previous ticket (in December), for which I went to traffic school. Will my insurance go up if I get a point on it?I am about to move 400 miles away... do I have to come back for court? Any chance I can take traffic school again? Do you know how much this ticket will be? It's a 22350-VC. Thanks.

I was sitting at a drive through restaurant one day. The parking lot was one way. This car tried to come through the wrong way and was sitting in front of me. They wouldn't move (retards) so I started backing up so I could go around them. I turned my head and looked behind me then started backing up. As soon as I started backing up I hit another car. This ghetto chick had swooped around the corner in the time it took me to turn my head back. We pulled over and I asked her if I could pay it out of pocket. She agreed. She got an estimate and we met for lunch. I told her I would meet her at the body shop, pay for her car, then personally drive her to a car rental place and pay for her rental car. I told her if she just wanted cash, I would give her $500.00 right there. She said she would call me. She sent me a fax the next day that said due to all the "credit card scams" that are out there, she wanted cash for the entire repair bill and the loaner.

Right now I just have liability. I want to know what are the limits needed to be considered to have 'full coverage'.

I don't want my rates to go up, so I'm paying out of pocket for a 2 inch scratch on someone else's rear bumper. It's a 2004 sable and the body shop says they have to paint the whole bumper and it will cost $700. I have a 2004 350z and my car was damaged much worse, and it's going to cost me $750 to replace the bumper with a new one and paint it and everything. The $700 quote from the other body shop is ridiculous, but when I tried to talk to them and the other people's insurance company they just said I had to have my insurance company deal with it. They are totally taking advantage of me, what can I do?????

I'd like to know the insurance price for a 1.8 litre car, about 5 years old, driver being older than 26 years old, and no claims bonus not included, in different countries. In Ireland I get a quote about €1,200
Thanking you all in advance !!
