Motorbikes or bicycles. Hubby recently had a bicycle shipped from the US to Canada. It was dismantled and I think he wound up having to pay something like $80 in customs fees on a bike worth about $600. It was shipped from a dealer and arrived in good condition.

Ya I do it all the time. I go to one of those ports in Portland and put a bike on deck when know one is looking. The SHIP goes to a
port off of Prince Edward Island, where a friend intercepts it before a
fisherman even notice it.

If you follow Nelson's advice, you could be charged for theft of services. Seems like UPS would be able to offer advice.
