I just re-newed my car insurance but now im purchasing a new car. Is it possible to get the balance of my last insurance payment transferred over to my new car? Or will I have to pay for insurance again in full?

Just contact your insurance company with the details on your new car. They'll add it to your policy and drop the old one. They'll then recompute the premium for the balance of the policy period and either send you a bill if it's higher, or refund the difference if it's lower.

most insurance company's will automatically cover your new car for 30 days - all u have to do within the thirty days is contact your agent and transfer the policy

It doesnt work that way, much easier. tell the insurance company what the new car is and they will tell you the new premium, up or down and the payments will change for the new amount, its easier than you thought

You can just change the car, and keep your current policy.
