I got into a little fender bender and the other driver's insurance company gave me 1500 for the estimate for the damage to my car. It's not undriveable, mainly a big dent in the bumper. But i'm wondering if i'm required to get it repaired because i'm still making payments on my car. Anyone know the law on that, specifically oregon law?

I have several cars but I can only drive one at a time. I am looking for car insurance for me as an individual instead of per car.

The door handle on this car is up on the window--well...it has broke! Can't get in the car on this side, have to slide across the front seat from the passenger side. Does anyone know how much money we are looking at to get it repaired? And is it a difficult process to fix?

I'm planning to buy a used motorcycle from a private party within the coming month or so. My question is, do i buy the motorcycle first, take it home, then get it insured? Or do i legally have to buy insurance first before i can purchase it from the private party?

We live in California and my brother turned 18 this past March. I was wondering if anyone can help with info. When he takes his written test next week, what happens next if he passes? Does he take the driving test the same day? If he does pass the written will they give him a permit or something? What does he need to bring also?

Thanks a billion for any answers!

I got some points 3 years ago, wondering if they would still be on it. I also got 2 or 3 points about 5 or 6 months ago. I didn't know if those would still be on there or not too.

My neighbor's painter used the heavy duty ladder, the one that can be extended. However, my wife said it fell on my car and damaged my car and windshield. The guys tried to get my home owner's insurance policy no. which I refused to give one.

Last week, all 4 tires of my car got slashed by vandalism and I reported it to my auto insurance. It never happened to me before. And I have a pretty good record.

Do you think I still need to go though my insurance co. to repair the damange and they can go against the painter company? Or should I get it fixed through the painting company?

I am trying to figure out which route is better one. If I go through insurance co., it will be less headache. But would'n it have an impact on my record although I am not at fault?
Or should I go through the painting co., so my insurance co. does not need to know and potentially no records. Any experience or advice on this issue? I'd really appreciate it

My husband was driving. We approached a two land roundabout. There was a vehicle in the left hand lane with a 12ft trailer. We were in the right lane. Both vehicles joined the roundabout together. He accelerated fasted as he was taking the exit which was straight across. We were going slower as we were turning right. As we were starting to turn right the guy with the trailer started coming across into our lane and pushing us up against the kerbing on the roundabout. My husband broke hard and sounded the horn. The guy with trailer slowed down but scraped the side of our car with the end of the trailer. We thought he was going to stop but then he accelerated again and the end of his trailer caught at the near side of our front bumper and ripped it off. Are we liable?

My car has been fully repaired & has been back on the road for a couple of years. It is not shown as a write off on the V5, but shows up as one on an HPI check. I would like to have it removed, but can't seem to find info on who to contact to do this.
