Not really, unless the company is giving you a hard time. The lawyer would get a big chunk of money that the family is entitled too. The insurance policy in question pays up to a certain amount, and that is it. The other driver is responsible for anything other what the company pays. The family should get the maxuim amount, plus all medical benefits listed on the policy. Most claim adjustors do what they can for the families, and try very hard to satisfy them. But if you get one of those that you feel is trying to take advantage of you, then ask for a new one. Too, you don't have to settle for the first offer that comes out of their mouth. Most people don't know this, but if a vechile or property was damaged it can settled without the rest of claim being settle along with it. I am so sorry for your lost, and I pray that you have one of fine adjustors that I am priviledged to have worked with....God bless us all..............

sometimes they have a set rate that they pay,,it seems they don't value human life very much,,but yes,,you might want to talk to a lawyer just in case they try and cheat you,,or hold up,,they have a method they call the waiting game,,the longer they make you wait ,,they think you will after a while just accept a settlement just to put an end to it all,,and most of the time this works,,with people,,they just want to close things,,so life can go on,,but to be safe go talk to a lawyer and see what he says,,explain things to him,,and he will instruct you if you need to do anything else,,i hope this has helped some,,good luck with it,

No. you should immediatly leave your trailer and go look at million dollar homes. Dont forget the banjo playing buck toothed kid on the porch either - he'll need a room of his own. Wait - didn't you get molested by that preacher at the travling minstrel show? Better go buy a hummer too.

i would at least contact a lawyer and see what they have to say. you should be able to ask a question without being charged.
