I've been told insurance in Quebec is much cheaper. I know a few friends that live there can I change my license address to Quebec then seek insurance over there? Im getting sick of paying 400+ in Ottawa.

The insurance will pay for the damages, but most are external. He wants to keep the car and still drive it with the damage (passing local inspections of course). Is there any legal or insurance issues with doing this?

I am going on a trip out of the country for 4 months, and my car will be parked in my parent's driveway with a cover over it the entire time. How can I find the LOWEST possible car insurance for these months? I called Progressive and the guy was a total salesman with me, saying, "Oh you need vandalism insurance, oh and you can't have vandalism insurance without collision insurance," so before I knew it, my quote was up to $120 a month. That's barely lower than the insurance I have now! How can I just get the bare minimum, state-required insurance?

I live in Nevada, by the way, if that helps.

Wwhat other tests should I take (No road tests)?

i was driving in jersey city, nj and while merging on highway i stopped at stop sign, the bmw behind me hit my car at stop sign ignoring the stop sign, i called 911 the cop came . i felt the cop being rational and argued with me regarding the damages. i still dont have the police report but what is i found the police report based on rational descrimination.

i was not in fault as it was rear end accident at stop sign .
mine was 93 altima and the person who hit me from the back was having brand new bmw.
can n e one suggest me what further steps i should take after i receive police report and what i should do if i found the police report biased.

For allowing someone who is not on my policy to drive my car? This person has only driven it once or twice and has a clean driving record and there's no reason for my insurance provider to even know about her driving my car... But I got a phone call at work the other day saying that they were considering canceling my policy because "someone saw" her driving my car... Can they cancel my policy for that reason? I mean, I know that the car wouldn't be covered if she was in an accident and I know that they could cancel it if she was in an accident in my car... But she wasn't.. So, can they cancel my policy just because "someone saw" her driving it?

I'm considering switching from my State Farm to Geico car insurance. I've heard some people have had good results from them but I need to hear if anyone has had any bad situations when they needed Geico. Please respond only if you had negative results. thank you!

I understand that Michigan is a no-fault state, and as a result everyone gets this PLPD insurance or something. I'm moving from Pennsylvania and had full coverage on my car for about $90/month. I thought PA and MI were both no-fault, but it seems different and the rates I'm being quoted for the same insurance in MI are higher. I'm so confused!! Also, right now I am on State Farm. I'm 25 but on my mom's plan, and I am getting married/changing my last name and I now live in Michigan so it is past time for me to pay for my own insurance.

While driving on the freeway, a metal object from car in front of me fell and damaged the front of my car. Will my insurance raise my rates or negatively effect my insurance record if I go through insurance to get it fixed? I use Mercury insurance in California and I have standard collision coverage. Thanks
