Insurance & Registration - August 2006

Im applying for my permit and im 17 years old. the only thing im missing is my insurance. Please help i asked all my friends but none have insurance. Thank you for your time,

Has anyone taken their road test here in Miami, Florida? Do they take you on the road? Or do you stay in the parking lot?

I pulled into my driveway as my hubby was backing out, I didn't see him backing up I turned to try and miss him but he kept going and we slammed into eachother. We're both on the same Insurance policy. He says it was my fault that I came into the drive way too fast, I say it was him for not seeing me come in the driveway and not stopping.

So i was in a parking lot and i was backing out of my space and i had looked all around (my sister was in the car and said i looked also), and i reversed out slowly and hit a car. I dont know if this car was pulling out of a parking spot behind me or driving by, but i clipped her car on the drivers side, rear bumper right behind the back wheel. And it hit my car in the dead center on my rear bumper. So i assumed it was my fault bc of the way our cars hit, and i got out of the car, and said i dont want to go thru insurance or call the cops (bc i thought if i called the cops i had to go thru insurance). So i told her i would pay for her damages. She is supose to call me in 2 days with an estimate for her car. But i talk to people and Everyone is telling me to tell her when she calls that "i talked to people and they said that since it is a parking lot accident we are both at fault and to pay our own damages" What should i do and who is at fault? I bought this car, and they lost the title. I can't really get them to go to the dealership and get it back. i need to leave here, and i cant utill i can get this thing registered. is there any way i can get a hold of the title so i can get out of here? I'm in california. the dmv is kindof being ***** and wont really help me out in this situation. any help is apreciated.

How does being 'second named insured' differ from being listed as a 'driver' under someones auto insurance policy? For example say my boyfriend is listed as a 'driver' in my policy but his SNI status is 'no' does it mean he is covered? And if he is covered how would being an SNI differ?

the scratch is pretty deep. it was my fault, so i'm guessing that my insurance would have to pay. I'm a teen driver but i have not had any accidents before. i've been driving for about a year. thanks a lot.

I am trading in my current truck with personalized plates for a new one that will be delivered on Monday. I have checked the DMV site and found the form to reassign the plates. However, I did not find the answer to this. Can I take off my plates now and keep them for the new vehicle, or do I have to leave them on the trade-in and wait for DMV to replace them?

the car at the front i dont know what was going on there but the car in front of me hit that car the car in front of me breaked really quickly so i crashed into him attempting to break at the same time. we were all stopped at a red light then it was green so we started off then all i notice is the carinfront of me breaks all of a sudden adn i go right into him whose at fault here? i had no chance of avoiding this. i was safe distance back to about a metre and a half and was only going about 5 km's a hour whose at fault here? am i? my car had the most damage i was at the rear of the accident.

Recently, here in California, I was at fault in a small accident. Rather than report the accident to the insurance company, both parties agreed that I would pay for the damage in cash and that the accident would not be reported to the insurance company. However I provided information of my insurance to the other party. Now I would like to know what type of document I would use to show that payment for the damage was made and that the other party promises not to make a claim with the insurance company.

I have old Nissan 240 Sx, she has honda SUV very new( don't know what-type very big one). We hit back to back . Her right bumper fold in and my right bumper has some fold and scratch. Her is more damage. Anyway, she want to get estimate and settle without using insurance. I don't care about fixing mine. I believe that she really want to fix her but have me pay for it. I don't think that is my fault, am I right? Should I report my insurance so they can take care of it ( deal with her for me)? I am afraid that she might turn around and report to her insurance first and I don't report mine..so then it becomes my fault ? and also will cause my insurance rate to increase . Will it increase- if I just got in accident if not my fault? Please help, I just need to decide ASAP. Thanks.

I recently switched from Allstate to State Farm after I received a very nice quote for my car insurance. I switched policies on Tuesday, and cancelled my old policy. Today I got a call from the lady at State Farm saying that she misquoted me and that my actual amount is 80$ more than she originally said per 6 months.

This makes my old Allstate policy cheaper (only by $15 but still). She said that I would be rebilled, but I'm kind of thinking that I should be entitled to the policy that I was quoted and paid for 3 days ago. Do I have a legal leg to stand on, or do I have to pay the price for someone else's incompetence?

What should I do?

Can anyone in El Paso buy a Lamborghini and register it here, get license plates, and an inspection sticker like any other car? Why would a Lamborghini be illegal in El PAso, if not illegal throughout the entire US? Is a Lamborghini illegal to have in El Paso, or even to pass by through El Paso with one?

accident and coverages?
my bf has hit a car in the parking lot. He doesn't have collision under the insurance. The back side of his car is damaged. Will the insurance cover his car along with the victim's car? Is there any way where we can spend less money? Please help us? It might cost us around 2000dolars..
