i know you have to be 15 to get your drivers permit but can you get a REAL licsence at 16 and drive without a parent
some licesence are going long ways like -------------------- that and some are going up and down like l

when u get ur permit, you have 6 months with it, in that 6 months, u must do 60 hours of driving, 50 hours in sunlight and 10 hours in dark, then after 6months go back to DMV with parents to get ur DL

Depends on what state you live in. You are going to jump through the hoop several times though. Best way is via driver's ed in high school. They don't teach you to drive but they do issue a license to all those that show up for the classes.
