I don't know the exact terms therefore I can't explain any better than this.

I know that cars can be bought in 2 ways from a dealer. I am talking about new cars. One way is to pay cash and the other is to buy it through a bank over a longer perion, Leasing, if I am not mistaking.

I wanna know how can I realise which is which. Is there something special about the number plate?

Or how do sellers refer to a car that is still under payment??

Please help!
Thank you!

Now him and I have my ups and downs. That's my bussiness and I love him. But my son and him started getting into it when he was about 15 or 16. This guy and I broken up last November. We was together 13yrs. We didn't break up about my son. It was about some thing else. We still been seeing each other. My promble is my car is in the shop. It's going to cost me a lots of money to get it out. My friend is willing to go half. But that still leave my with my half, rent, light bill, water, insurance, car payment. So I decide to move in with my friend. I told my son that he's on his own. My sister said I was wrong. Do you think I'm wrong. I just want to live my life without taking care of him. Am I a bad mother or what.

I have a 2007 Shelby GT500 and I am selling it to someone in California as a used car. The car was not ordered with CA emissions; however , I understand most new cars will pass the smog test without them. How can I find out if it will pass short of having the car tested? I am in Tennessee. And, as a used car, is it required to have any CA emissions equipment installed or does it only need to pass the smog test to be registered?

I was sideswiped by a delivery truck and in the process I got thrown to the sidewalk and hit a car that was parked on its driveway. Our problem was who was to shoulder damages incurred by the car that I hit. That's were recovery claim comes in.

Furthermore, the driver of the truck tried to runaway. People just stopped him from doing so.

Ok, so I bought a vehicle from an aunt who is moving out of the country. I paid $15,000 for it. When I took the title(pink slip) to the DMV, the lady told me I have to pay $1200 in taxes. What gives? Is this even legal? It doesn't make sense at all. Taxes were already paid on that car when she bought it from the dealer, and now since I'm making a private transaction I have to pay taxes on that? I live in California buy the way, if that helps. Any comments and or suggestions for an alternative will help. Thanks in advance.

Do I have to pay for a different auto insurance policy (that costs
alot more)here in Oregon to allow my 16 year old son to drive our vehicles?
I was told by a former ins agent, this is a scam to get more in premiums, when it is not required by law.

of course it must be cheaper to have no insurance than pay over £1000 and if you get caught you only pay a small fine (thats if you get caught)

I live in CA. If i get rear-ended (I'm not at fault) but i did not carry auto insurance at the time, but the faulting party did have insurance. How does that affect my claims on medical injuries, loss of car use, settlement, etc? basically does it make a difference if i have insurance or not if i am not at fault? I hired a lawyer because ididn't know how to deal with the situation at the time. Just wondering if the lawyer was honest. Please answer only if you are certain. Thank you for your time.
