You will just have to check around for the best rate. I would suggest going with large companies like, State Farm, Farmers, Allstate, etc... If you have a claim the larger companies have been around for a lot longer and are better able to take care of you in the long run. Rates vary depending on what coverages you will carry and I would always carry more Liability coverage than your state requires mainly because if you are at fault for an accident and you only carry what the minimum is for your state it could cost a lot more in the long run if you happen to be involved in a big accident with more than one person in the other car. So just make sure to educate your self and any good agency will take the time to explain your coverages and give suggestions.
Good Luck

You may love your bmw, but you won't love your insurance rates. Try Progressive.com or an Independent Insurance Agency, they will have the most companies to help you get a quote. As for the answer above, most captive agencies will but you in a high risk plan, make sure the company you choose is A plus rated by A.M. Best and remember the biggest insurance companies in the world are the ones that usually, don't advertise to the general public. They are called re-insurance Companies. They insure the insurance companies. FYI...

Dude, too many factors to consider. The only way to know for sure is to pick five or so companies and call them on the phone. The online ones are too high since they don't take into consideration a lot of discount factors.

Call around and find out.

I've heard farmers insurance has a new policy that has cheaper rates. You would just have to list out all the people that live in your house on the policy.
