My advice to you, leave Geico alone. Im with state farm and have no intention of leaving them, They have give me 100% satisifactory service when I needed them, now back to Geico, let the seriously stupid radio and TV commercials tell you what kind of company they are. They say that over 10,000 drivers change to them every day, what they dont tell you is that they probably drop 10,000 every day. Just stay away from them, they are a serious JOKE ! ! !

It wouldn't matter what company you mentioned in this e-mail, everyone is going to have a horror story about it. The only problem is there are always two sides to every story. Both State Farm and GEICO are way up there when it comes to the larger insurers. I know you said to respond only if you had negative results, but why would you only want to only hear the bad? Keep in mind that the Claims end of it can be adversarial to those who do not have insurance with that company, but that doesn't mean the company wasn't handling the claim fairly and in its insured's best interests. And that's what you pay for- you pay for coverage for you and others if you have a claim (and hope you don't need it).You can't please everyone.

Sure had. You couldn't PAY me to be with Geico. My friend had them, she got in a wreck (her fault) and Geico DROPPED her from the Insurance (her bill was ALL paid up...everything current) and almost refused to pay the medical bills. They drew the process out for over a year. I went thru the same thing, got in a wreck with a different friend and GEICO wouldnt pay my medical bills. They were threating to take me to court for over 2 grand in hospital costs. Had to Harass Geico everydayyyy for 10 months till they decided to pay.
My advice to you is run like he// lol
Progressive, on the other hand is good insurance...

Don't do it! I've had several clients switch to Geico, then call ME after the accident, unhappy with how the claim was handled. They'd ask me to help out with the claim, like I used to when *I* wrote their policy, but HEY, they saved $200 on their car insurance!!
