And she escaped from a mental hospital so obviously she didn't have insurance. And i don't have underinsured coverage? Seriously I am not kidding. It is very ironic!

You don't have underinsured coverage, How did you do that? In this situation you will be financially responsible for your own repairs. Get the insurance and learn from this.

Do you have full coverage on your car? If so you can file it under the collision part. You will have the deductible to pay, but you can get your car fixed. I wonder if the mental house could be found liable? I am not sure if you can hold the cab company responsible, because they didn't just hire the girl and give her a cab. The girl is responsible for the damages, but since she's in a mental house-she ain't right in the head-so she maybe not legally responsible. Know a good lawyer...I hate to say this, but if you don't collision coverage on your car, you are proably going to have to pay for this yourself. It's definietly not fair, someone should step up and pay the bill, but in the "real" world how many times does that happen. I would call the hospital, the cab company, my insurance company, if you any of the girl's family, I would ask ok, this happen what can we do about getting my car fixed...they can always say "no" but they could say "YES" Good luck and I have been in insurance for 15 years-this is a first! She's not insured, but the cab's owner certainly is! That's why he has insurance! His insurance will pay.
