trans fluid is going down (no leaks), and the engine oil is going up.

Also, it doesnt give good acceleration from 50mph and above. Its fuel consumption is about 18mpg. Or does it have to do with my plugs? I use the normal single electrode plugs. (Toyota recommends twin platinium tungsten electrode). What do I do?

On a Z28 1988 TPI 350 engine can I replace the valve stem seals with out removing the rockers and thus not have to adjust them?

I heard this can be done. I am using the rope method to keep the valves in the heads.

I recently purchased a 2003 Volvo S40 and the odometer is about to change to 74,000 miles. I am a girl and don't know much about cars and am starting to worry it will start having expensive problems...two questions:

1. Does my car have too many miles?
2. Are Volvo's reliable or do they tend to have lots of problems?

I have returned my truck to the dealer twice and he said this is normal. When starting from complete stop it seems that the transmission has a slight bump just when starting (as if it was not completely in gear --- has anyone else noticed this who has the same vehicle. It has 9000 miles and has done this since I got it --- It does not seem to get worse but my previous toyota was completely smooth and I can notice the difference

My volvo started jerking lightly when I was accelerating, braking and driving at highway speeds. I took it to a volvo dealed and they found misfire in three cilinders and the coils in them cracked. Is this the beginging of many problems? Does this happen to other volvo's? I am 19 and have been saving up ever since I was born and now this!!! Should I consider selling? Please give advise. I have 2006 Dodge truck 4WD with 3.91 posi, 34K miles. Whenever I make a hard left or hard right from stopped position, it feels like the rear end is grinding/vibrating. I'm not talking about the inside wheel hop. I'm just easing in to it. Do I need to worry about that or is it typical?

My 2003 Accord's AC does not work SOMETIMES. When this happens, it starts working after I restart the engine the AC works sometimes. Whener the AC works I here rge compressor turning on with a "Thud". When its not working I do not here any noice. Please Help
