so i bought a car off ebay. i asked the seller if he had title. he says yes. i asked is it under his name. he says no. he tells me that he never got around to it, and i won't have a problem getting the car under my name. the title is signed off by registered owner. this car is a 1964 impala btw, so it's an antic, but i plan to drive once a while. and i live in delaware, the car is in washington state. my question is, is it true that i will not have a problem getting it titled, since it's gone thru 3 owners and none of them getting it registered, and i'm out of state?

I have a 1960's 13' Boston Whaler and upon flipping it, because it's so old, the weight of the boat made a crack from the rub rail, all the way to just before the hull. I would like to know how to fix this. Should i just grind out along the crack, plug it with fibers and cover it with cloth? Thank you.

Ok when i turn to the right, my truck seems like there is something rubbing on the tire i can feel it under my feet. Does not do it when turning left, but as i was driving down the road it got louder faster i went and slowing down it stops so it moves when the tire moves i suspect. 2002 chevy silverado

i have a 1992 Geo Prizm that has been sluggish for the last month. Last night i was driving at 60 mph and it just stopped and the check light came on. battery is good and I checked all the fuses related to fuel. The relay i pulled out but I have no way of checking it except by sight. I am wondering if this could be a fuel filter problem or is more related to the pump or distributer. Thx

With 3-4 inches of snow, i was on my way to school, when it should have be at the least, delayed, i slid on slush/ice and while trying to keep my jeep on the road, i ended up on the wrong side of the road, a similar scene happed to a friend of mine a few weeks prior and he slid into a ditch hitting a telephone pole. I tried to merge back into my lane without flipping or slidding any more. I was unable to get back over before hitting another car head on. luckily no one was injured . Can i sue my school district for not canceling school knowing that the weather was dangerous and that many students drove themselves to school? The least they could have done was delay school giving the roads a chance to clear up.

My mechanic said they were warped already? Someone riding the brakes, which no one does that drives the vehicle. It's a '98 Cavalier? Can anyone help me as to why I had to replace them already?

If i drive my Fiat Punto 1242cc Mk1 with its Lambda sensor disconnected from the cable will it do any harm? - the engine idles perfectly when it disconnected and lumpy idling when it is connected.

I don't fancy changing the sensor at the moment I will get around to it later but if I leave it disconnected for the time being will it cause any harm or use any more fuel etc...?

I have a quick question. I drive a 2003 Dodge Stratus. All of the professional repairmen have told me that the transmission fluid pan underneath this automobile needs to be replaced with a new one, but I am not even sure where the pan is. (Please try not to laugh!) I do not like to ask people this question, for I do not want to look stupid. Even if I were to know where it is and what it looks like, how do I go about replacing it with a new pan that does not leak? I would like what the steps in doing so are.

Thank you for your response. Both males and females are welcome to answer my questions.

I have a 2002 dodge 1500 automatic and from time to time after I park and turn the engine off and restart later the gear shift will not move. I turn the steering wheel, depress the brake pedal, and even turn off engine and try to put in neutral. After a while of messing with it, it will eventually go into reverse or drive.

I have a 2003 ford escape and I applied the parking brake last night and it seem to not have released all the way. The brake pedal feels harder and I can take my foot off the brake pedal at a stop and it doesn't coast anymore. But is not that noticeable while driving.

Do I need to get this looked at? I can't really afford a shop visit and was wondering if anything bad can result other than wearing out the rear shoes faster than normal. Brakes were replaced about 8 months ago with new shoes and drums on the rear.

Thanks

I have a 98 Dodge Grand Caravan and the drive belt started squealing a few weeks ago. At first it was subtle, but now it's quite loud and annoying. I bought some conditioner for the belt and applied it, but that just seemed to make it worse and the van is idling roughly now. Do I have a pulley going bad, if so, how would I test that?? Thanks!!!
