There is a piece called the belt tensioner pulley. It is spring loaded, to keep the belt tight. As the spring ages, it gets loose and causes the belt to squeal. Replace the tensioner AND the belt. It is a fairly easy job, if you are handy, you can do it yourself. The parts will run about $80-100 at any auto parts store. At a garage, expect to pay about $150-200 to have it fixed.

The belt needs changing, belt dressing is only a band aid for a bad belt

2 problems but maybe just one to fix it..... lose belt tensioner or the belt is bad. take a look at ur belt and twist it not pull it but turn it over it u still have "teeth" on it or there isnt no metal looking areas its not the belt but u need to locate the tensoner on the side of the block usually the next thing the belt turns after the altenator and losen the bolt a lil and push it down tightening the belt and then tighten the bolt and ur set..

Take it in to a garage. The best thing for a sqeak is chalk on a drive belt. If it is slack it will need re-tentioning or maybee replacing. The best way to test pulleys is a long screwdriver placed on the part that doesn't move and place to your ear, but be carefull !

Very common for the automatic tensioner to go bad, and not put enough tension on the belt

First try to tension it, this is an easy job and very often helps. If not, put on a new drive belt. If this doesn't help, go see a mechanic.

take a bar of soap and carfully appliy it to the belt while the car is running. if the noise stops you may just need a new belt. as for idleing, that is not related to your belt

You may have a bearing going out rather than the belt. I would suggest taking it to a mechanic and have them check it for you.

you may need a new belt. Be careful, because i had the same vehicle. the belt popped and the car would not move. i had to tie it together just to get me to the store to get another one.
