OK, I have an update: I have everything essential to starting this car, except gasoline, the fuel gauge has also stopped working are they connected? I am wondering do I need a new fuel pump, or is the fuel gauge indicative of something else? wiring maybe, I cannot find a decent wiring diagram anywhere so I don't know if one affects the other or not, please help!

Cruising along 110kmh,, no apparent reason skyview moonroof Explodes, gave me a good scare, and the fellow behind me who got blasted with glass... Nissan told me it is not covered under the Recall for other Exploding Skyviews.. My Maxima was built later in the year, only the ones built earlier that year are covered,, DOES THIS MAKE ANY SENSE TO ANYONE??? I'm going to Nissan Canada head office to complain and try and get this resolved, without spending a penny.. Only fair I think.

Engine ticking noise when cold but quiets down when hot. Sometimes it may take up to 60 seconds before it starts making the noise after it is started. It has great oil pressure & the noise doesn't get worse when reved up & letting off the gas like a rod knocking, although when reved up the noise does speed up. I have removed the belt & ran it to make sure that the noise wasn't coming from something up front, the noise is still there. I had a mechanic I know from the local Chevy dealer look at it & he thinks it is in the bottom of the engine when he used his stethascope on it. He talked to a mechanic at the local Jeep dealer & the guys first response was to change the oild filter to a Mopar filter (it had a Fram on it). We both thought that was kind of stupid but for $5.00 we gave it a shot, to no surprise it didn't change anything. To me it sounds like a lifter / rocker but the guy from the Chevy dealer says when he listenes to it w/ his stethascope it is loudest in the bottom end.

I just bought and 08 Jeep Wrangler and am trying to buy a parrot bluetooth kit...it needs to know if my jeep is amplified or non-amplified...and I simply don't know! Can someone tell me if I am...I have the infinity upgraded sound system and subwoofer in the back...does that mean "amplified"? Thanks!!

I have a 2000 Suzuki RM 125. My shrouds (plastics) are messed up. Does anyone know if the 2001 or 2002 gas tank fits so I could buy the new gas tank and shrouds. Thanks.

I was driving along today and my car ( a 1999 Honda CR-V, 87,000 miles) just died on me. It just completely shut off. I put on my hazzards and managed to pull it over. Then I finally got it started again and drove off. This has happened about three other times in the last nine months. I never worried about it before because it always happened when I had just started it up or when I was coming to a stop, never when I was going 50 mph on a busy road. What could possibly be causing my car to do this? Should I see a mechanic and what should I tell or ask him/her to check out?

My car is about a year and a half old and recently I noticed the roof rattling quite a bit. Took it to dealer to have it check and they lubed all the seals as per the manufacturer. It still makes some noise but the dealer says that the only other thing they could do is to replace the seals but the car will never be the same.

This is my last resort. Anyone else have this problem and what did you do?

Im stationed up in alaska and the temp get really low. The other night my vechicle was running fine. I plugged in the battery heater and go to my room. The next moring i start my truck and i notice the battery light is on. I thought the battery might of gotten cold somehow. The truck ran for 3 hours and it died while running. That makes me think it is the alternator. But i wasnt sure. Maybe the battery just went bad. I didnt think a alternator could go bad in one night. I can jump start it and it runs for about 3 minutes and then dies. Could it be that the battery went bad and dosnt hold a charge and the alternator cant keep it running or is it just the alternator that is bad.

I'd rather not go into why I need to trade it in for a new one (so I don't get all upset and angry...)

Bottom line, do I need to have my title from CA DMV in order to trade in my car, or even to sell it? I paid cash for the car, so that sucker is mine. Now I want to trade it in, all I have is bill of sale from the "dealership." (OK, they are a dealership, I just put the quotes for my own reasons.)

I asked for help on this before but was told to replace the bulb. Well I took the light off the blower but can't find a way to get at the bulb. How the heck do I get at it? Oh it's a 81/2 hsp Yardman about 8 years old. Seems to be one piece except for the lens. Sorry I know this in the wrong category but not getting any answers.

I had a Oldsmobile that had a automatic tranny and I cracked the transmission line and all the fluid drained out and the car would only rev in gear. Now I have a 98 Honda civic and the car will only rev no matter what gear I put it in. Could this be a shortage of fluid?

Hi,

I am using Nissan 2000 Altima GXE car. I have a problem with the car remote.

My car remote has a "Lock" key which if pressed twice causes the security alarm to beep.

The problem with my remote is, even if I don't press the lock key it is generating lock signals . So the alarm automatically beeps. If I take the battery from my car remote I don't find the alarm beeping.

Can somebody suggest me what shall I do ?
