My car is about a year and a half old and recently I noticed the roof rattling quite a bit. Took it to dealer to have it check and they lubed all the seals as per the manufacturer. It still makes some noise but the dealer says that the only other thing they could do is to replace the seals but the car will never be the same.

This is my last resort. Anyone else have this problem and what did you do?

I had a 1999 volvo c70...loved the car, until I got hit. But, the rattling noise I always had was from my sunroof. So, I put my hand up there and noticed that a piece of metal on the left side of the sunroof came off, so, I just screwed it back on, and no more noise after that. Hope that helps. Great car....I just bought myself another Volvo, the V70 AWD sport...safe car and easy to maintain...

This is strating to become a problem with these, replacong the seals may make the top leak water when it rains, turn the radio up and live with it.
