The main question here is, Did you sign the papers at the dealership, or did they bring the paperwork to you? If the dealership brought the paperwork to you, You have 3 days to change your mind because they solicited you to buy their product. If you signed the paperwork at the dealership, You can never legally change your mind. I sell new and preowned cars. I once had a lady bring back an Icy Blue Mazda 3 the day after she bought it. Her husband didn't like the color AT ALL!! There was nothing the dealership could do. The paperwork was sent to the bank when she bought it.
Most dealerships aren't trying to be mean when they won't let you back out of a deal. The laws dealerships have to follow are VERY strict. Once you send a deal into a financial institution, they own the car. Hope this helps..
Oh Yeah, There is no "Lemon Laws" on preowned vehicles anywhere in the United States. The only vehicles classified as lemons are new cars.

Not a car.
SOME other products, bought on credit will fall under various state's "buyer's remorse" laws, where the buyer has up to three days to decide if he wants to go through the purchase.
But for automobiles, I don't know of any states that have this. Some individual dealerships may offer an exchange program, that allows a buyer to trade a recently purchased USED vehicle, for another. But I'm sure there is no refund policy.

It depends there is something called the Lemon Law, it is different in every state. Most of the time pepole use the Lemon Law because, the car is not performing how it shoud. I know you can use the Lemon Law on new cars, from a new car dealership. But im not sure about used car lots, you will have to look it up, get on the internet and search for Lemon Laws for _____ (name of state). You should fine what you are looking for, if not just call the used car lot you bought it from and ask.

Not unless they offer you exchange or refund privileges in writing. There is no law giving you the right (in any state) to cancel a car deal. Car deals are always final.

unless it's in the contract you signed, NO you do NOT have the right to take the car back...
The dealership will have spelled OUT what your rights are...if you didn't test drive it first, thats your problem...

YOU HAVE 24 HOURS IN MANY STATES TO TEST DRIVE A VEHICLE BUT YOU ALREADY BOUGHT IT SO ITS YOURS.
IF YOU GO BACK AND TRADE IT IN YOU WILL LOOSE A LOT OF MONEY.

Some dealers will let you return it, but most wont. Once you signed on the dotted line then it's the banks/yours.
