They take down your car license platre and send you a bill , or you have to write them an IOU...a summons may be issued if you don't pay! I was short one night, the toll taker took it out of his own pocket(I felt awful) so I finally found an ATM, and on the return trip(it was still his shift) I ran over and reimbursed him, adding a box of animal crackers for his trouble...he exclaimed "hey these are like my favorite!" to this day he remembers me as animal cracker lady!

I've been known to blow through the toll roads from time to time. If there's an attendent there and you tell him you dont have any money he will give you a card with a number on it and you call that number and arrange to pay the fee of the toll via credit card or check. This saves you from a ticket.

they usually provide you with an envelope or an address for the toll to be sent to. They also may take a picture of your license plate and car so that they can send you a bill (and a fine if you decide you don't need to pay and drive on through).

They ask for a pint of blood in exchange. EVERYBODY has blood! Lol, I dont know how it works where you live. but in Florida you get up to 3 times a month to do that. Just make sure when you go thru to have some dough because it'll be a LOT more expensive than just 75 cents. I hope this helps!

They'll take your info and give you a slip to mail in with the required toll.

There is always a bypass gate for the people who work there. They turn you around and send you back the direction you came from. They may give you a ticket as well.
