I'm thinking about buying a used Honda Civic and trading in my 2002 Chevy Cavalier in to put towards the Civic. I'd even be willing to buy a Civic that's older than the Cavalier and with higher mileage. Is this a good idea? Would I be able to find a used Civic for 8K or under at a dealership (I would want to finance it). Oh, I'm still paying on the Cavalier to--currently owe 4K on it ($250 monthly payments). I'd like to keep the payments near the same if I do get the Civic. I just REALLY WANT an import car. I need advice in this matter please!!!

I have a 1997 Chrysler Town and Country LXi with a 3.8 FI 6cylinder engine and my column clock spring has conked out so I have no air bag, no horn or cruise control. Am about to order the part but it gives me 2 kinds, a 6 circuit and a 3 circuit. Would anyone know which is the correct one?

Please advise soonest. Thanks much!

Someone told me a story about dumping smelly liquid in the coolant reservoir or something that works with the air conditioner. I don't know if it's possible. Do cars use water for the AC?
My brother also bought some kind of fruit-smelling liquid that would make the car smell good by using the air conditioner. Where does the liquid go and do you think it would work?

I want to fix up my Jetta 99 and add neon lights and re-do the interior etc. Well I am looking for some neon lights and I saw some that had remote control...I like that cause hopefully you can turn it on from the outside at a distance etc. Anyways does anybody have any ideas or pictures of their pimp out cars...or really nice rides with neon lights etc. Also I am trying to do the upholstery the floor the seats etc. any ideas how I can do that or order them etc. THanks. I would appreciate pictures so I can get ideas. Oh and about how much would it cost to install neon lights at like pep boys etc.?

If someone fails his vision test at the DMV apartment, what will happen?

I understand this person must contact an eye doctor. However, if the person's vision cannot be corrected, what will happen?

I know of this guy who drives very well. He has vision problems. His problem is near-sighted. This means he sees near objects very well, but struggles to see very far objects.

I drive with him all the time. He drives much better than me. Honestly. He said he has to come up close to read the road signs, and last year at DMV he has troubles reading the small letters to pass his vision test.

My question is: If he fails his vision test in couple months time and his doctor may can't correct his vision, will DMV take away his License? If yes, he is going to go nuts, for he travels very far to work every day, and his cars are very expensive.

i have an old 94 5 speed manual car and i just learned how to drive it. but how do you paralel park if you have to speed up in order to shift in car. how do you drive slowly in manual cars if they need to release clutch over and over again to go slow.

Have a 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel.
The fuel pressure drops at times to zero and will get a "dead pedal" where it won't accelerate. Replaced the lift pump and that didn't work.
Happens sometimes when it rains, but I don't know if that is what is causing it since it isn't always raining when it happens.
Any thoughts as to what it could be?

I just found out that oil tanks on Sportsters have a known problem of buiding up enough preasure to blow out the seam of the oil tank. Well it has not been fixed and I was several miles from home when it happened to my Sportster. It is such a problem that the replacement tank is on back order from the factory. My remaining riding days for this year could be completely over now.

I want only replies of people that have had or still own a 3000GT. I hear that these cars on ebay that go for under 10k are not worth it and are just junk? I've also heard they are extremely costly. I'm still not sure about this car, but yet im still not enough informed lol. So if anyone can help me out here (that knows what there talking about) please do so. And what would you say if you were to compare a 3000GT to a modified eclipse that puts out the same HP? Thanks for your imput.

I have a 1982 Yamaha Virago 750cc's. I just tore apart the carbs and cleaned them out, and replace the spark plugs. Made some other minor repairs. Now the bike is back together. Fired up Beautifully. But it's Idling around 3000 RPM and wont come down.

Before the repairs the idle would wander incessantly, climbing up for no reason, or bog out and stall. So I'm glad its holding a strong steady idle, but is 3000 RPM a good Neutral RPM? Is there a way to drop it down?

Before you mention the obvious: I did not make any adjustments (that I am aware of) to the carbs so that they would run richer. Yes, the choke is completely closed, and yes the limit screw on the Idle control is all the way down. Still holds at 3000 RPM.

My one guess is that when I re-installed the throttle cable on the carbs, I may have taken out too much slack. Like to know if there is anything else I should look for next time I have the tools out.

so i was changing the running light on my bike and when i set the socket down it popped. like a normal short circit. well i checked all the fuses and they were good. but i cant figure out whats wrong. nothing turns on ne more. is there a buss fuse? did i mess up the battery some how? someone please help me.

the bike is a 2007 GSX-R 750
