I bought a 2007 Chevy Cobalt on July 9. My dad thinks it might be time to take it in for servicing. When should I take my car in to see if it needs serviced?

For the two speed ratcheting winch. IF the winch will lock in both the pulling and letting out of the cable or strape. How do you switch between these? Is there a switch or spring?

I was just wondering hours-wise how long it takes for each of them on average. I was planning on getting mine while in school. Also do you know if you have to take them together at the same time or seperate or which is better? Please let me know what you think! Thanks!

When I lock my boat trailer crank, so that I can crank the boat by hands to the boat trailer, my crank goes in the opposite direction. What I mean is, I click the lock up so that when I crank the boat onto the trailer, the boat does not roll back off the trailer. HOwever, when I try to lock it, and then crank the boat manually to the trailer, the boat keeps rolling back off the trailer because the crank no longer locks it. So, my question is, there some sort of switch or spring that got swiched to reversal for the crank?

my hitch weight shouldnt be much more then 200 pounds so a household scale i have that goes up to 350 would be able to register it but is the measurement still valid if its being measured from the foot of the trailer jack rather then at the hitch and at the level it would be at when attached to tow vehicle?

When you're driving on the freeway and you're going on a trip or just going somewhere in a big city, how do you drive when it's raining a whole lot? It's hard to see and I know you slow down a little, but whats the right thing to do so you can see and you wont get in an accident?

I mean that A340-500 and A340-600 are one of the unique aircrafts on earth.A340-500 for long range and A340-600 for long range,HIGH comfort and longest fuselage(for an airliner).
but their demand is not as I want.so A340's Future models can be good or bad for the airlines, aviation, etc.

I just bought an 07 Honda 919 and after about 5 miles of driving (it's brand new), I heard some squeal coming from the front end. The back end doesn't make (as much?) noise, but it sounds like a rock in the brakes. I don't see any grooves on the rotors, because I decided to continue riding (bike has 130 miles on it now) and see if i could get rid of the rock through repeated braking. Whatever the deal is, it's a squeal that appears just as I pull on the front brake....after a moment on the brake, the noise stops, but there's also a little noise as I ride, which makes me think maybe the calipers are just too close to the rotors? I REALLY hate the shop that I bought the bike from, but they're slated to do a 600 mile first tune on it in a week and I was thinking of getting it looked at then. Any ideas? Am I being a dumbass? (i figured if i hosed the rotors or pads, i could play dumb and get them to install new ones free :)
Thanks!
Oh, no flames about Hondas. Don't wanna hear it.

99 saturn sc1 3 door coupe with108k for $3500. It has some scratches and the driver's door makes a cracking noise everytime you open it. But i guess no big deal. The only problem the owner told me is about a year ago the car got towed for parking in the wrong place and after that the check engine light was on. They had a mechanic turn it off and it runs fine now.

So any thought?
