I have a 92 325ic (E30, M20 engine). Although my skills are lacking, even for me the car is too slow. It was suggested to me to replace the air filter, get a performance exhaust, performance chip and add a limited slip. I was thinking also of a different steering wheel. It's an automatic. I autocross maybe 5x per year.

I am about to buy me a BMW. I currently drive a 1990 525i, but I am in the market for a newer (2005ish) M3 or 3 series.

Factoring cost as an option (because I know the M3 is way more expensive), should I go full out and save for the M3 or just stick with the 3 series? is there really a huge justifiable difference between the two?

Better yet, should I forget both and buy a 5 series? or what?

Essentially, what's the best model BMW to buy in an affordable price range?

I am not sure but , I dont know if the reason of my check Engine light is the reguler gas I used in mazda 626 . I didnt know this but now that I am looking at the title it says Fuel---- Gasolin:(

does it mean I was not suppose to use other fuel than gasoline?

is it gona damage the car or the engine ?
I really don't know wat has gone wrong with it ..

I have a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis with the Ford 4R70W transmission with overdrive.. If Im driving at a constant 60 miles an hour on the highway what would happen if I turne overdrive off? If I'm gongi 90 miles an hour with overdrive off could i damage the tranny or the engine??

Ok, I just bought a 190 mustang a couple months ago and I was looking into fixing the heater in it cause it gets pretty cold over here. Anyway, the car blows air but there are components missing from the AC and the heater. What Im trying to figure out are what these two metal hoses are that come through the fire wall into the engine compartment. They are on the passenger side and one is on top of the other. I think they are for the heater but Im not sure. Does anyone have any idea what these are for?

my compressor turns
i took it to a shop to get recharged and they did then said that the compressor didnt work. but it was new i had just bought it they charged me 110 and said it was still charged even though the compressor didnt turn on.
i look at the compressor and got it to turn on and found out that they had not charged it at all so i went back and they said it turned on but was not staying on.
does it need to be charged for the compressor to stay on. am i getting ripped off?

So i have a 1995 ford taurus that i got 6 months back. Since then I have always been setting tire pressure to 5.0 on the gauge. Is this alright? Am i Overinflating or Underinflating? Also, is it legal in the day, but not at night? It's dark out, and we forgot to put the gas cap on, and left it at the top of the car. We drove off, and it fell off the car on the freeway onramp. We stopped near the end, reversed almost to the beginning, with the blinkers on. Is that legal?

i dont want to spend money to fix the problem... so is there a simple way to get rid of the light. i already tried unpluging the battery. ive heard of pressing on the gas or brake a certain number of times....not sure. Help please! serious answers only

Somebody told me to check Auto Transmission fluid level at normal operating temperature, shut off engine, the level should be between the upper and lower marks, but other said that at normal operating temp. with engine on and at the drive position. Can some of you expert out there give me some good advices? Please help. Thanks
