but ive been driving it because my mechanic checked it at first but didnt find anything wrong with it and its driven fine the whole time. im wondering if anyone knows why the lights go on and how to fix this problem. thank you.

Because you need a Saab dealership visit to shut em off! Its how Saab get you to have your vehicle serviced by them - and charge you a fortune for the privilege! Its the same with our Volvo - hubby managed to get hold of a programme that clears all those lights!

I'm NOT a mechanic, but it could be the O2 sensor my car did that, but it's not a saab either. Go to autozone, advanced auto, and they will tell why the light is coming on. They have a machine they plug in underneath the dash and poof theres your answer.

Those lights are activated by sensors in your engine. Some can be turned off but a lot of them have to be replaced. As long as you're getting your vehicle serviced at regular intervals I wouldn't worry about it. Some of those sensors, whether replacing or turning off will break the bank.

You have a bad sensor. This is a common occurrence that happens most often in most cars. There are a lot of mechanics in the family, that's how i know
