i think it REALLY depends on what you like.
being a workin mom, the fact that you ride at all is pretty sick. my mom rides an 8 yr old suzuki gt 500 or somethin like that... and it was always just kinda cool to have my momma ridin around.
harleys are cool, but i think you definitely have to be into the style.
if youre into a more sportbikey style, kawasaki ninjas are pretty slick and supposed to be great beginner bikes.
whatever the bike, definitely do some research. also sit back and think about what kind of riding youd mainly be doing: commuting, just streets, hittin the track (you never know) or just kinda... all around.
some smaller bikes (depending on your weight) are prolly gonna be more geared for city streets than the freeway too.
theres tons to consider =D
good luck.

If your main concern is looking "classy" then you shouldn't ride. Riding is not about looking good, it's about the enjoyment of the openness on two wheels. Riding requires a serious attitude about safety. When your main objective is style, you drift form the concern of safety and this is the wrong reason to ride.
Pick a style of bike which you like the best based on comfort, style, reliability, reputation, etc. Not because you look good on it. Most women look good on most bikes. Focus on the safety of riding and perhaps you'll live longer to look good on a bike.

I love seeing more and more women on the road....but picking a bike for it's "class" is not the way to go...sorry.
safety, comfort, price, and your actual ability is what should be governing your choice of motorcycles.
It doesn't matter if it's a new top of the line Harley or a old beat up Honda CB350 that has no paint...what does matter is that you have two wheels between your legs and you're out there riding safe and having fun...that's what's really important.

Nothing looks better than a lady on a Harley. Working mom or not. But, truthfully, the Honda Shadow series looks good too.

Honda cruisers. They don't leak oil or leave you by the road.
