yeah my mom just told me that they do not take away the car if you do not have a license. so i just want to confirm that and would like to know the consequences. difference if the car is insured or nO?

Are you talking about having a valid license but just not having it with you at the moment, or driving while not having license at all? The first is a minor infraction, you'll get a small fine if that. The second is very serious, and they will most likely will impound your car unless there is another passenger that can drive it home. And either way you'll pay a huge fine.

No license they can impound the car and can take you to jail. No insurance you get a ticket. My license was expired by 8 days, I went to jail till my wife bailed me out. They did not impound the car though.
