I would like to ask u guys owning euro cars such as BMW, Mercedes Benz, Maserati, Porsche. Would you have your cars repaired/maintained by independent auto shops? or rather have it checked by their own companies? Or is it ok for you guys to go for independent auto shops as long as it provides quality services and more affordable cost? Thanks guys!

So im driveing home from work on a hot summer day, and my car starts do over heat. I pull over and let it cool down. Once it cools down I drove home no problems at all. About an hour after ariveing home I go out to my car and check the raditor to see how much fluid I have in it, it turns out to be close to empty. So I fill it up with water and bleed the air . After I do all that my nephew came out and tryed to help me by spraying my engine with a waterhouse! I then start the car and try to drive to the store but it died about 3 feet of traveiling. I then try to start it againg and it dose nothing but crank over. So I asumed that either my distriputer, coil, spark plug, and or spark plug wires are wet. So I wait a good 3 hours and try it and still nothing. After about the third try it started up and I had to constaly give it gas to keep it runing. I checked my RPM gage and it strangely read under 1,000 when I was giveing it gas at est 4,000 RPM. What could the problem be?Any help will do

My a/c compressor went out and I have the new one. I am wondering if you are able to replace it from underneath the vehicle. It looks like it is hard to get to. It looks like you would have to maybe move the motor if you did it from the top. The car is a 2003 Honda Civic SI 2.0L. Thanks :)

I am planning on buying a Porsche 968 within the next few months. I'm looking to modify it with a turbo kit. I'm sure it'll be much cheaper than finding one of the 15 they only built as a turbo stock. Can anyone help me out here?

When i purchased my car 2 years ago my father put it in his name because my credit was shaky....now I need to ship my car to Hawaii and the military told me if my name isn't on it they won't ship it. Does anyone know if there is any way around this besides shipping it on my own and paying for it myself?? In the state of PA is there anyway to be put on the registration w/o being the actual lease holder?

My 8 year old subaru 96000 miles needs a quart of oil every 1000-1500 miles. No gray or white smoke. No oil on the ground. No problems with antifreeze levels. highway driving makes the problem worse. What is wrong and what can I do for it? Will a thicker oil help? I use high mileage 10-30 oil already.

1996 Pontiac Transport has no problem starting first thing in morning;after the van is warmed up if I turn it off and try to re-start it within an hour it sounds like its out of gas.I replaced the starter, the e.g.r. valve,o2 sensor, etc. would a fuel pump sometimes work perfect and not when warm? I do not have fault codes or check engine light on,as when it starts it runs fine.Mechanic says it must be a sensor;I need my van for work, yet I cannot leave it running every time I go in a store-any ideas? Thanks for looking:)
