can you put a blow off valve on a chevy cobalt ss supercharged?

the correct answer is yes and depending on the size it may be critical. turbos use a waste gate while blowers"aka super chargers" need a blow off vale to prevent to much pressure in the cylinders. causing a blown head gasket, blown intake gaskets, or even blowing the blower off the top of the engine. If you ever look at a car that is set up with a real blower on the back of the intake manifold there will be a plate held in place by two springs, that is the blow off valve.

There is no need to put a blow off valve on any motor unless it is turbocharged.
