Iesus Nazerenus Rex Iudaeorum (Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews)

I believe it was INRI, not INRA. Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews.

Latin, the language of the Romans, had no "J." The letter "I" was used instead. The Latin versions of the words "Jesus" and "Jews" at the beginning and end of INRI therefore began with "I," there being no "J." "N" of course stood for Nazareth. And "R" stood for "Rex," the Latin word for "king."
